Looks like that is the answer when considering a career in the health care field. You can probably find a “job” in a health care setting right out of high school – maybe a file clerk at a hospital or an assistant of some kind, but if you’re looking for a job that leads somewhere – a career – you should think about at least one year of education following high school.

Here’s a quick look at how much education is required for health care careers.

Certification in Health Care : There are professional standards for many careers related to health care. Often, in addition to a college or university education, professions require a period of supervised training (or internship) followed by an exam in order be certified by the profession’s governing body.
